IMPORTANT: Meta Platforms (Facebook) Ticker Changed to META

Facebook parent Meta Platforms has changed its ticker symbol to META from FB. Update your club's records accordingly.

As annnounced in October 2021 by the company, Meta Platforms, Inc. (formerly Facebook) has officially changed its ticker symbol from FB to META, effective June 10, 2022.

myICLUB.com treasurers should update their club records with the change as soon as possible in order to continue to receive current stock quotes for this holding in their portfolio and valuations. Here's how:

  1. In your myICLUB.com club website, go to Accounting > Securities > (Update) Security Settings.
  2. Click the Edit button to the left of the company name (the icon with the pencil):
  3. On the next screen (Edit security settings), change both the Symbol and the Quote Symbol to META:
  4. Click the Submit button to save the changes.

 

This is a one-time adjustment to the club's data that will ensure that historical and current stock prices will be correct for the holding.
